  I had been lifting and doing aerobics on and off for years and I've always been active hiking and biking. I hired Shari because of some joint problems in my knees and hips that were really slowing me down. Shari developed an exercise program for me that gave me a good workout, strengthened my problem areas and kept me from injury. I have been faithfully meeting Shari for strength training twice a week for the last few years. I love the circuit training program she developed for me alternating upper and lower body. I was quickly able to do 3 sets of 15 repetitions and was surprised to see my stamina increase and my aches and pains improve. I am now able to hike long distances again with the strength and stamina I had when I was younger. Every now and then, I feel a few aches again but they resolve themselves very quickly due to the strength I've developed. Shari has a great personality and has pushed me to reach goals at my age I thought I would never achieve again. Shari taught me how to lift safely, stay motivated and injury free.

  Meeting Shari and becoming her client was definitely one of the best decisions I've made in my lifetime.   I am a 51-year-old woman who hates to exercise. I have been a yo-yo dieter, losing and gaining the same 20 pounds since I can remember. Prior to working with Shari, exercise did not exist in my life. Two years ago, my husband and I hired Shari as our personal trainer hoping to get motivated to exercise and improve our overall health. She worked with us at our level; never pushing too hard but always inspiring us to do more. Shortly after beginning our workouts, I began to see changes in my body. I was toning and firming up and was actually enjoying doing it. I lost the extra weight I was carrying by complementing my workouts with diet and have been able to maintain my weight for two years now. Shari is a great trainer.   When I looked in the mirror today, I was surprised to see the changes in my body since working out with Shari as my personal trainer. In fact, I saw more improvement after just two months with Shari than I had experienced from working out for more than a year with another trainer. Besides the physical change she had created with me, Shari has a great approach to coaching me through my workout. She builds confidence and accountability in me.
